Why Did Brandi Glanville’s Face Change?

Dr. Johnny Franco, a board-certified plastic surgeon in Austin, Texas, claims that although the pubic area may seem like a highly strange place for liposuction, it’s more prevalent than people realize. “I believe people are more conscious of this issue now that fashion trends have shifted and leggings are a common choice of clothing. So that the entire area is smooth and transitions smoothly, we liposuction it repeatedly in conjunction with the abdomen, he says. He acknowledges, though, that he doesn’t fully comprehend Glanville’s reasoning.

It’s not entirely obvious how liposuctioning the “fupa” area would alter someone’s appearance if they were concerned about coming off as pregnant. It’s also the reason why doctors and patients need to use caution when describing body parts using some of this terminology, he adds, as they might have various meanings to different people.

Not everyone is a good candidate for pubic liposuction, says Fairfax, Virginia-based board-certified plastic surgeon Dr. George Bitar. A suitable candidate should ideally only have excess fat in the pubic region and tight skin and muscles. The reduction of fat “may make the skin even looser and look less beautiful if they have loose skin and/or lose muscles,” he warns.

At this stage, he claims that a laser liposuction is an excellent option for the pubic area in particular because it both tightens the skin and results in reduced bruising and swelling in this delicate location. Additionally, he emphasizes how crucial it is to confirm that the patient does not also require lower abdominal liposuction. If there is excess fat in the lower abdomen, focusing just on the pubic region can give the illusion of a divot there, according to him.
