Zayn Malik and Gigi Hadid have decided to end their relationship. According to various sources, the supermodel and the musician have ended their relationship after the former ‘One Direction‘ singer allegedly got into an altercation with Hadid’s mother, Yolanda.
The couple, who sparked dating rumors for the first time in 2015, welcomed their child in September 2020. Zayn and Gigi named their kid Khai.

People magazine reports that the couple is no longer together at this time. The 28-year-old musician rushed to his official Twitter account to post a comment on the matter, telling his followers that he only wants to provide a safe and private environment for his daughter’s upbringing.
“A place where private family matters aren’t thrown on the world stage for all to poke and pick apart. To protect that space for her, I agreed not to contest claims arising from an argument I had with a family member of my partner’s who entered our home while my partner was away several weeks ago,” Zayn wrote on Twitter.

The musician further stated that this should be a private matter and that he only wants their daughter to grow up in a calm family setting. Zayn also poked fun at the rumors, indirectly criticizing how the media was “led” to the material.
“This was and should be a private matter, but it appears for the time being there is discord, and despite my efforts to restore us to a calm family situation that will allow me to co-parent my daughter as she deserves, this has been “leaked” to the media,” Zayn stated.
