After his ex-girlfriend Dua Lipa made her relationship with director Romain Gavras public, Anwar Hadid posted a series of alarming now-deleted Instagram Stories.
On Friday, the “Levitating” singer, 27, walked the Cannes Film Festival red carpet with the French filmmaker, 41.
Over the weekend, Hadid, the younger brother of models Bella and Gigi Hadid, uploaded photos on his Instagram Stories that followers saw as a reference to Lipa.
However, Hadid did not name his ex-girlfriend or her current boyfriend. “Trying not to find and ki!! him,” he wrote alongside one photo of him looking directly at the camera, according to BuzzFeed and pictures published on social media.

A second photo, taken in a bathroom mirror, showed the 23-year-old smiling but with the caption: “I can’t breathe.”
Hadid shared a blurry photo of himself strolling with the caption, “I hate the way you say my name,” and another, possibly of a floor, with the caption, “Have fun.”
Hadid also used a sobbing face emoji to remark on his most recent grid post, which showed the identical selfie as the first Instagram story.
Neither Hadid nor Lipa’s representatives replied quickly to calls for comment. Many of Hadid’s followers responded to his remarks in the comments area.
“Leave Dua alone,” one user said, while another described his posts as “childish.” “Sorry, but getting secondhand embarrassment,” someone else said.
According to the singer, Hadid, and Lipa began dαting in mid-2019 after meeting at a BBQ. In an episode of “Watch What Happens Live” in 2020, the Grammy winner recounted their initial meeting, which “carried on onto DMs.”

On October 2022, the “New Rules” singer announced her single status on an episode of her iHeartRadio podcast, “Dua Lipa: At Your Service.”

It’s unclear how long Lipa has been dαting Gavras, the son of Academy Award-winning director Costa-Gavras. However, they were photographed together leaving a BAFTA Film Awards after-party in February, according to the Mail Online.
