NCIS Season 20: Release Date, Cast and All Updates You Need to Know!

NCIS Season 20: Even though Mark Harmon’s character, Special Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs, left the show, NCIS still finished the 19th season as the No. 1 broadcast show, so it was a no-brainer for CBS to pick it up for the 20th season.

Steven D. Binder, who is in charge of the NCIS show, told Parade.com about what will happen in season 20. He said, “We’ll see a little more of their lives outside of work. I think that the cases are an important part of the show.

The show is called NCIS, and it’s about the Naval Criminal Investigative Service. But anyone who watches the show knows that it’s really about the people on it.”

He also said, “I always tell new writers that their cases have to work, that they have to be funny, interesting, in a new area, clear, have a twist, and be exciting all the way to the end. And none of it matters to anyone.

Wes Below Deck Season 10: Release Date Confirmed or Not?

They care about the history of the people on the show. So, you need to clear that up so we can dance in a place where people care.”

Since season 20 hasn’t started filming yet, not much has been said about it other than our talk with Binder. Here’s what we do know so far about NCIS season 20:

NCIS Season 20: Has Renewed or Not?

It has! On March 31, 2022, the show and the rest of the NCIS franchise, including NCIS: Hawai’i and NCIS: Los Angeles, were all picked up for the 20th season.

This means that the show is tied for third place with Law & Order: SVU and Law & Order in terms of how long it has been on.

NCIS Season 20 Release Date: When Will Air The Season?

Even though the COVID-19 pandemic changed the schedule a little, things seem to be back to normal as of season 19. If that continues to be the case, we can expect the show to start up again in September 2022 and run until May 2023.

We also think that the show will stay on Disney Plus, where episodes have been shown in the UK since earlier this year.

There isn’t a confirmed date for the show’s return yet, but we’ll keep this page up to date with the latest news and any changes as they happen.

Parker’s ex-wife, Vivian Kochak, will join the cast as a recurring character. She will be played by Teri Polo. She looks into things that don’t make sense for the Department of Defense.
