The cooperative RPG Project D will be released this winter in a video featuring photographs from its continuing development in South Korea.
This first Project D trailer arrived over a year after Hound13 announced the Dragon Sword title in July 2021. But the wait was worthwhile because the graphics of Project D are stunning and promise a high-quality mobile game.
Project D Trailer Reveals an Enchanting Magical World
There are various massive RPGs on mobile, such as Genshin Impact, Tower of Fantasy Dragon Raja, and many others. However, the Project D teaser introduces some exciting new features. For example, we may see a character riding a climbing dragon mount and even a flying squirrel in the photographs.
The semi-open world of Dragon Sword (named after the trailer) is bright and makes the player fantasize, similar to Ni no Kuni Cross Worlds before revealing its play-to-earn system.
After watching the official teaser, the large-scale production makes us interested to learn more about Project D. Garena’s investment in Hound13, which establishes the groundwork for in-depth development on Unreal Engine 5 and also contributes to the project’s success.
Furthermore, we should be able to thoroughly enjoy the game without resorting to automatic farming. The developers intend to emphasize manual mode to add depth to the action and story.
Release of the RPG Dragon Sword by Hound13
The environment shown in Project D, Dragon Sword, the trailer before its debut, and the graphic design, may remind you of something. Hound13 is also known for its work on the MMORPG Dragon Nest, which you may have played from its first release in 2014. Back then, the developers went by the name Eyedentity.
Shanda’s disastrous buyout led the studio members to start their own company, and thus Hound13 was created. The Project D release date has not yet been confirmed, but the title’s production appears well underway, as evidenced by the video.
