There are a lot of major decisions to be made by the characters in Sweet Magnolias, and what they decide will almost certainly have an impact on the entire town of Serenity. Thankfully, there will always be margaritas on hand to help them work through their issues. Sweet Magnolias Season 3 Plot: What Will Happen?
A lot of ground will be covered in the show’s third season. This year, JoAnna Garcia Swisher told ET that Sweet Magnolias season three would most likely pick off “near to where we left off,” and she added, “I don’t think you can come back months later and say, ‘What happened with Helen? Is Justin in jail? Why not go big or go home?”
Even before it was announced, Sheryl J Anderson, the show’s executive producer, made no secret of her desire for a third season. After allowing Ronnie back into the house, Dana is also attempting to mend her relationship with him. Whether or if he stays faithful to her in the future remains to be seen. When Helen’s ex-boyfriend Ryan proposed to her, the season ended on a cliffhanger. Dana Sue is just the beginning of what’s going on. Then she has to choose between him and her new boyfriend, Erik.
It’s up to Headley to figure out what’s going on with her character. “Netflix is scared that I will disclose all the secrets for a good bowl of macaroni and cheese.” When Cal’s anger management difficulties resurfaced following the loss of his high school coaching position, he was hauled away by police and taken away in handcuffs. How will Maddie react now that she knows about Cal’s dark side?

(EW quotes Sheryl as saying that) “It’s something that Cal needs to unpack and explore if he has handled past situations effectively, why it was lost when not losing it is so important to him and what decisions he can make going forward,” Sheryl told Entertainment Weekly. It’s not just for him; it’s for everyone he cares about. On top of that, the town is holding a recall election, with the insinuation that Maddie should be the one to take over as Mayor if he loses.
Even if it happens, the Mayor’s vengeful wife will be even more enraged, and it’s only a matter of time until she starts digging up dirt on Maddie’s loved ones again (especially considering how easy she caused trouble for Cal). Issac, on the other hand, has no idea who his biological parents are, and their emotions to his birth have been as opposites as chalk and cheese.
Bill, despite his reputation as Serenity’s most fertile man, had little interest in his secret child, whom he had only recently learned about. The question is whether he’ll change his mind after the dust settles. If Issac’s strong friendship with Noreen, the mother of the love child that terminated his marriage to Maddie, causes him to stress out, what will happen to Issac?
Sweet Magnolias Season 3 Cast: Who Will Be in It?
JoAnna Garcia Swisher (Maddie Townsend), Brooke Elliot (Dana Sue Sullivan), and Heather Headley (Sweet Magnolias) are the three central magnolias in the film (Helen Decatur). Tyler (Carson Rowland), Kyle (Logan Allen), and Annie (Anneliese Judge) will all be returning.
Chris Klein in the role of the philanderer Despite his lower part in season two, Bill still has an impact on the main cast, thus it’s probable he’ll return as well.
