Tales Of The Jedi Story

Even though Tales of the Jedi is a collection of short stories about different people and battles during the time of the Old Republic, the stories actually fit together to tell a bigger story.

The series is about a Jedi Knight from Alderaan named Ulic Qel-Droma who is drawn to the Dark Side. During the series, Qel-Droma fights the Sith Empire and falls in love with a fellow Jedi, Nomi Sunrider, only to turn to the dark side himself.

Qel-tale has a lot to do with Exar Kun, another former Jedi who turns to the Dark Side. Anderson made Droma’s Kun for the Jedi Academy Trilogy, which says that his soul was linked to an old temple on Yavin IV that was used by the Rebel Alliance for a short time as their base.
