Night Sky Season 2:|Everything|About This Drama Series!

The biggest news about Season 3 casting is that Jensen Ackles has been hired to play Soldier Boy, the first superhero made by Vought. We’ll talk more about what Soldier Boy’s arrival might mean for the other characters of the show in the future.

In addition to Ackles’ Soldier Boy, the show now has Crimson Countess, Gunpowder, Blue Hawk, and Supersonic played by Laurie Holden (The Walking Dead), Sean Patrick Flanery (Dead Zone), Nick Wechsler (Dynasty), and Miles Gaston Villanueva (Nancy Drew).

Only Crimson Countess and Gunpowder have made an appearance in the comics. Crimson Countess is a play on WandaVision’s Scarlet Witch, and Gunpowder is an expert with weapons. Both could be called bad guys, but in The Boys universe, that’s not always the case. In season 1 of The Boys, Gunpowder briefly showed up in a TV interview, but he was played by a different actor.

Deadline says that Katia Winter, who was in Blood & Treasure, will play Little Nina. Little Nina is a Russian mob boss who likes sex toys in graphic novels, but Amazon hasn’t said anything official about this yet.

Deadline also says that The Man in the High Castle star Frances Turner will play Mother’s Milk’s wife, Monique, in season 3. Kristen Booth (The Hot Zone: Anthrax) and Jack Doolan (Marcella) will also appear as Tessa and Tommy, the TNT Twins, who are siblings of Supe. The two are on the latest poster for The Boys, so you can expect to see them in some way. Also, according to, Justiin Davies (The Equalizer) will play a younger version of Stan Edgar in season 3 of The Boy.

Aya Cash, who played Stormfront in season 2, won’t be back for more. Cash said the following to Metacritic: “When The Boys comes out on June 3, I’ll have to watch it with the rest of you. So, that’s what’s new.” Cash could be trying to throw us off the scent that she will make a cameo, but we don’t think that’s the case.

Lastly, will season 3 be the last time we see Starr star as Homelander? According to Variety, the actor was arrested in Spain recently for allegedly hitting a young chef. A member of the cast of The Boys has since been given a fine and a 12-month suspended prison sentence, but it’s not clear if he’ll stay in the role after season 3.

The Boys season 3 Trailer

On May 16, Amazon Studios put out the official trailer for season 3 of The Boys. And if you thought the first teaser, which you can see further down this page, was crazy-good, you’ll love what this one offers.

At the beginning of the video, Homelander gives the same PR speech to many different media outlets. But every time he says the same lines from the script, he looks crazier and crazier. So it shouldn’t be long before he goes completely crazy, which is exactly what the trailer shows.

But Homelander has more shocking moments than just how the main character goes crazy. We see Soldier Boy, played by Jensen Ackles, and Payback, the superhero team he leads, in action for the first time during the Vietnam War. They turned out to be just as bad as The Seven. Go figure.

At the same time, things quickly get out of hand for The Boys. Billy is lost without a mission, so when a substance like Compound V gives him the chance to go head-to-head with The Seven and their group, he takes it. We think there will be a lot of fighting about the moral questions raised by injecting this fake drug, with Mother’s Milk and Hughie at the center of these worries.

It looks like the main theme of The Boys season 3 is fighting amongst themselves or civil wars. As new battle lines are drawn, The Boys, The Seven, and Payback will all be fighting. During the eight episodes of this season, there will be a lot of bloody twists and turns.

If you missed it when it came out in mid-March, you can watch the first teaser for the new season right now:

The Boys season 3 Plot

Despite two trailers, The Boys season 3 has no plot synopsis. We can speculate based on what we’ve seen. The Boys injecting themselves with Compound V to level the playing field with The Seven, Payback, and other Supes may finally be explored.

Billy will take Compound V or Temp V, which gives 24 hours of superpowers. According to the footage, he’ll have laser eyes and incredible strength like in the comics. Queen Maeve must be desperate to give Billy the drug (to cancel Homelander).

Billy may fight Homelander. In the first teaser, the Seven’s leader looks worried (is that a bruise on his cheekbone?). So maybe Billy punished Homelander, and now he sees he has a worthy opponent who may do him considerable damage – or kill him outright.

Season 3 won’t be easy for Homelander. The official trailer confirms he’s progressively going nuts, vowing to show the world “the true me” The Boys and Homelander’s Supes should be worried. Plenty of additional season 2 plotlines need to be resolved.

Without Stormfront, Victoria Neuman seems like the next big evil. If you discount Billy’s nasty transformation, Homelander’s homicidal impulses, and Soldier Boy. Antony Starr, who plays Homelander, told Vanity Fair, “When you bring a bunch of apex predators together, two of them don’t do well.”

Neuman was outed as the Supe who exploded skulls in season 2’s last scene, therefore he may have a hostile role moving forward. We assume she’ll be a shadowy background villain.

Hughie’s situation could worsen. Hughie joined Neuman in the season 2 finale, and The Boys briefly dissolved. We don’t know when Hughie will discover his new boss is as terrible as Homelander or Neuman’s ultimate scheme. When things go south again, The Boys will regroup, so it won’t be long.

Soldier Boy’s graphic novel origin hints at explicit content in the TV version. Showrunner Eric Kripke confirmed that the show will feature Soldier Boy’s first generation.

Soldier Boy becomes a US legend during World War II, but his history isn’t noble. During one mission, he kills Supes and US soldiers. The TV show’s Lieutenant Greg Mallory kills Soldier Boy in the comics. Given that Soldier Boy lives in the TV universe, his past and character arc must be changed.

According to the trailer, his skills have been altered. In the closing scene, Soldier Boy unleashes a tremendous chest blast (toward The Boys? ), making him a tougher opponent. Is he Vought’s guinea pig? It may explain why he’s so disheveled after a test. He’s either been in cryostasis for decades or The Seven needs a new leader. Considering Homelander’s turnabout.

Soldier Boy brings Payback. Payback is the “second most popular superhero squad” behind The Seven, led by the second Soldier Boy. Stormfront is in this team, hence her live-action counterpart has ties to Soldier Boy.

Season 3’s opening episode is titled ‘Payback,’ which may be a foreshadowing of Payback’s coming. The trailer says we’ll see Soldier Boy and Payback during the Vietnam War, so anticipate this narrative to be central to the season 3 premiere. According to showrunner Eric Kripke, the comics have flashbacks to World War II and Vietnam. I always loved it because you could see how the superhero phenomena altered the past.

Soldier Boy’s appearance will start one of the graphic novels’ most stunning storylines: Herogasm, in which Vought’s superhero lineup engages in a gigantic, company-organized orgy.

Her orgasm was the most controversial episode when it was published. We predict episode 6’s Herogasm plotline to be R-rated and sexualized (with a modern update for today’s audience).

Kripke said Herogasm’s segment had the “craziest dailies” he’d ever seen. Kripke told Vanity Fair that nothing he films will beat that. The Boys season 3 will provide more weird moments than her orgasm. Chace Crawford, who plays The Deep, quipped at SXSW that he may never be employed again after season 3.

Crawford: “I can’t give too much away, it’s weird.” Ackles: “I remember seeing it [in the screenplay] and you texted me. I have to find it, but I think it said, “I don’t know how I’ll work after this.” Crawford answered, “I guess I sent that [text].”

Karen Fukuhara and Tomer Capone agree. Capone said “Dancing With the Stars ain’t got s*** on us” about the dance sequence in The Boys season 3 teaser video. It’ll be a nice break from the season’s violence and sex.

Expect the bloodiest installment yet. Laz Alonso, who plays Mother’s Milk, told Den of Geek: “I recall hearing the cosmetics department head talking to her friend about ordering extra blood.” She said, “By episode 3, they’d used more blood than in season 2.”

Alonso told Vanity Fair, “We practiced choreography for days and weeks.” Action abounded. This season, everyone risked everything. Other story elements need resolution, too.

Compound V, the superpower-granting drug, is no longer available. It’ll be interesting to watch if this is the first and last time it’s offered or if it falls into the wrong hands and creates new supervillains.

The Seven will have more infighting. A-Train and Starlight are back, but The Deep isn’t. Homelander is still a member, thus he’ll target Starlight. Add Black Noir’s vegetative state from a peanut allergy in season 2 and Queen Maeve’s presence in The Seven, and things may get ugly fast.

Season 3 may go forward in time like Avengers: Endgame. On-set photos suggest The Boys season 3 may take place in 2024, based on a banner featuring real-life Senator Ted Cruz. Kripke has said that season 3 will focus on how The Boys mirrors modern (and historical) America.

“In the third season, we got interested in the Vought universe’s shattered representation of the US,” he said. People say there were “wonderful old days” and that we should return to them. Whom should America be great again? Soldier Boy explores toxic masculinity, racism, and past battles. We’ve explored the past, which is exciting.
