Gentleman Jack Series 3 Cast: Who Will Be Coming Back?
Suranne Jones and Sophie Rundle are almost certain to reprise their roles as Halifax’s Anne Lister and her love interest Ann Walker in the upcoming Gentleman Jack sequel. Lydia Leonard’s Mrs. Mariana Lawton, their third wheel, isn’t going anywhere anytime soon. If Mrs. Lawton has her way, she’ll keep bringing up memories of their passionate past to tempt Lister. Gentleman Jack Series 3 Plot: What Will Happen?
According to Anne Lister’s life narrative, the couple eloped six years before she passed away in 1840, which indicates that we’re still a few seasons away from that grief (thank goodness). If the plot of the show follows Lister’s life, we may be certain that the two will be together till the end of time. There is no doubt that the third season will have to cope with the messy state left behind in the second one.
As Suranne Jones explained to Digital Spy, Lister is “getting the business, she’s spending her money” in Series 2. Everything about it has been upped to a whole new level, you know. “She’s taking on the tribe. ” She’s taking care of business. She’s putting up a struggle to get what she wants in terms of their wills and how the estate will be divided. In fact, she’s dangerous because she’s so excited about her life that she could lose control at any moment.”
