Hugh Jackman Addresses Bryan Singer’s Behavior On X-men Set: In the third film of the Deadpool trilogy, Hugh Jackman will co-star with Ryan Reynolds as Wolverine, possibly for the final time. Jackman recently remarked on what has become into a difficult time playing the legendary character in the aftermath of disgraced X-Men director Bryan Singer, even though he started down this path five years ago with Logan.
Jackman responded to the Guardian’s query about whether Singer’s alleged sexual assaults have changed his opinion of earlier X-Men movies by saying, “You know, that’s a really, really complicated subject.”

The 54-year-old actor remarked, “There’s a lot at risk there. “X-Men was the turning point for comic book movies, in my opinion, and I think we can be very proud of it. And there are undoubtedly questions that need to be raised, in my opinion. But I guess I have no idea how to gracefully respond to that. I believe it to be complicated, but in the end, I am proud of what we have accomplished and the momentum it has created.

In addition to Singer being accused of sexual assault, other performers have openly criticised his conduct on the set. While Olivia Munn reported that he vanished for 10 days while filming X-Men: Apocalypse, Rami Malek described his experience on Bohemian Rhapsody, which ultimately dropped Singer, as “not nice.” Even Halle Berry, Jackman’s X-Men and X2 co-star, said that she and Singer had “a few confrontations” while filming.

You have to remember that this was my first film in America; everything was so fresh to me. Regarding his own interactions with Singer, Jackman added, “I think it’s fair to say that…,” before pausing. You know, there are some tales. I believe there are some aspects of being on set today that would not exist. And I believe that improvements have been made. Follow techyember.com for more updates.
