Jack Ryan Season 4: After a long three-year break following the release of season two in 2019, CIA agent Jack Ryan is finally back for the third season of Jack Ryan. The fourth season is already in the works, which is terrific news.
After saving the day—and the world—so many times, Jack deserves a happy ending or, at the very least, a break long enough for him to have lunch.
Here is everything you need to know about what the CIA agent and his friends can anticipate from season four, which will undoubtedly contain another global catastrophe he must avert.
Jack Ryan Season 4 Potential Release Date: When Will The Series Return?
When the fourth season’s shooting wrapped up in February 2022, the crew was first spotted filming in Dubrovnik, Croatia.
Given that the previous seasons took about 18 months to release on Amazon after filming started, we should expect to see season four in the middle to end of 2023.
Jack Ryan Season 4 Cast: Who Will Be Returning?
Naturally, CIA agent Jack will be back for season four. However, this is likely to be John Krasinski’s last job because it has been said that his original deal was just for four seasons. Despite Krasinski’s hints that we might not see the CIA agent again, Jack Ryan season four is the end of the planned series.

We shot seasons three and four back-to-back for about two years straight to make this program, he recently acknowledged to E! News. After this, I’m not sure if I’ll play this role again. I might resume it tonight in my living room.
The Ryan world will continue after season four, which will thrill fans of Tom Clancy’s books, even though Jack may be hanging up his holster. While Amazon had declared that season four would be the last one, Deadline stated in May 2022 that spin-offs, including one starring Michael Pea, were already in the works.
Ding Chavez, a figure well-known to readers of the Tom Clancy novels, will be played by Pea when the show’s fourth season premieres. Pea is best known for his roles in Ant-Man and Narcos: Mexico. He is a CIA agent with ties to Los Angeles who has appeared in several Jack Ryan books and the 1994 film version of Clear and Present Danger (where Raymond Cruz played him).
Abbie Cornish, who plays Jack Ryan’s love interest Cathy Mueller, will make an appearance in the last season of Jack Ryan after not doing so since season one.
As long-time viewers are aware, Cathy stayed with Jack after the end of season one and was never expressly written out of the program. She wasn’t there in season two, though Jack did mention it in one episode. She wasn’t mentioned in the third season, which is now on television. According to Deadline, she will return for the fourth season, but it is currently unclear how she will be introduced.
We anticipate seeing CIA agent James Greer (Wendell Pierce) and former agent Mike November (Michael Kelly) return for the third and final season, considering that they both made it to the season three conclusion, even though the other cast members have not yet been revealed.
Jack Ryan Season 4 Plot: What Will Happen?
There are some similarities between the third season and Tom Clancy’s book The Hunt for Red October, and season four may be inspired by one of Clancy’s other works. Given the sheer number of the 21 novels—some of which were co-written by Mark Greaney, Mike Maden, Marc Cameron, and others with Tom Clancy—it is anyone’s guess which Greaney and Grant Blackwood penned after Clancy’s death in 2013.
The narrative is being kept a secret, although Cathy Mueller, Jack’s season one love interest, could make a significant revelation. She marries Jack in the novels, so it’s possible that we’ll see a wedding in season four. Who knows, perhaps Jack’s story will have a happy ending when the play is over.
We know that Jack will collaborate with fellow agent Ding Chavez before Chavez’s character gets his spin-off series (Michael Pea). There is no information on the series setting or the involvement of other well-known figures like Greer and Mike.
Jack Ryan Season 4 Trailer: Is There Any Footage Yet?
Since season three just recently made its Amazon Prime premiere, it seems doubtful that we will see a trailer for season four before spring 2023. Remember to return often since we’ll post updates as soon as they become available.
