Snow Plow Accident: After a weather-related accident near Reno, Nevada, Jeremy Renner is in “serious but stable” condition. Jeremy Renner’s rep verified to Variety that his client is in critical but stable condition following an accident he had while plowing snow earlier today.
“His loved ones are there, and he’s getting top-notch medical attention.” According to the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office, officers were dispatched to a traumatic injury along Mt. Rose Highway in Reno at around 9 a.m. on Sunday.
Deputies arranged for a care flight to take Mr. Jeremy Renner to a nearby hospital after they arrived, in coordination with Truckee Meadows Fire Protection District and REMSA Health. As far as we can tell, Mr. Renner was the only one involved in the incident.
According to a sheriff’s statement, the incident is being “investigated” by the Major Accident Investigation Team. Renner is a long-time Washoe County property owner. As reported by News 4, a storm on New Year’s Eve dumped a lot of snow on that part of northern Nevada, causing more than 31,000 residents to lose electricity.

Renner shared an Instagram shot of a snowcat vehicle in 2015. This type of vehicle is intended to traverse icy terrain under adverse conditions. The actor disclosed in 2017 that he had broken his right elbow and left wrist while filming the comedy “Tag.”
