Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2: Confirmed or Cancelled?

Anime fans should expect a big year in 2023. Season 2 of Jujutsu Kaisen will air alongside other popular shows like Demon Slayer and Attack on Titan. A superb season by Yuji and his crew also justifies their inclusion in that group.

Season 2 will bring us back in time to the present after the popularity of Jujutsu Kaisen 0’s prequel movie, which brought us into prequel land. To hold you over until next year, we’ve put together this preview of what’s to come.

Our speculations on what might happen next have also been based on a glance at the source material. And that’s just the beginning; for more information on Jujutsu Kaisen season 2, please continue reading. In addition, we have put up a list of the 15 finest anime series that you should be binge-watching at this very moment.

jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Plot: What Could Happen?

As of chapter 64 in the manga’s Death Painting Arc, Jujutsu Kaisen’s first season had over. For a continuation of the anime’s adherence to manga release order, Gojo’s Past Arc (chapters 65-79) follows. It all has to do with Gojo’s past, notably a mission in which he and Geto were tasked with accompanying a Star Plasma Vessel to Tengen.

If that’s the case, the second season might be a jumble of flashbacks to Gojo’s background while also setting the stage for the Shibuya Incident, the show’s most significant plot point (chapters 79-136). To be on the safe side, the Shibuya Incident Arc is centered around Gojo and his new cursed alliance’s attempt to lock Goto up.

A 25-episode second season is the most likely option for this show’s future. The conclusion of the first season may indicate the same thing. When Yuji and Nobara have defeated the Cursed Wombs Eso and Kechizu, they rejoin Megumi and her team. Yuji’s finger gets eaten by Sukuna, who uses a mouth in Yuji’s hand due to anime.

In the upcoming season, the Cursed Womb triplets’ third member, Choco, is expected to join forces with series villains Geto and Mahito. Teachers at Jujutsu High are also on the lookout for a mole, and Utahime is particularly interested in tracking down the sleazy sorcerer. We should expect enough of that in the next season. Gojo invites Yuji, Megumi, Nobara, and Maki and Panda (as well as Maki and Panda) to take part in a new assignment in the final season 2 setup.

jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Cast: Who Can Come Back?

Season 2 will feature all of Jujutsu Kaisen’s regulars. All of the original cast members from the film are included: Yuta from the film joins Yuji Satoru Panda Maki Toge Toge Suguru, Choso, and Sukuna should all be present on the villainous side, although how much or how little remains to be determined.

With Adam McArthur, Kaiji Tang, Xander Mobus, Matthew David Rudd, and Lex Lang in the lead parts, the voice cast should also be retained for the English dub. If Kayleigh McKee returns for Yuta, she’ll be there, too.

jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Release Date: When Will It Come Out?

Season 2 of Jujutsu Kaisen will air sometime in 2023, however, the specific date is unknown at this time. Gege Akutami, the manga artist behind Jujutsu Kaisen 0, tweeted a unique image to honor the event. A release date can now be set for one of three months in the future: January, April, or October, depending on the season: (autumn season). This is the most natural choice because the inaugural season of Jujutsu Kaisen was in the fall. This also provides MAPPA Studio with enough time to complete all of the episodes that will accompany the film’s release.

Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Trailer: Is There Any Teaser Available?

Season 2 of Jujutsu Kaisen has yet to have a trailer, which is a shame. This season’s new episodes have yet to receive a decent tease, and we presumably won’t until they’re ready to provide us with a specific air date.

That being said, we were given a taste of what was to come in the end credits and the Jujutsu Kaisen 0 finale. Not much, but we now have confirmation that Yuta will be returning to Tokyo Prefectural Jujutsu High School following his time spent abroad. The implication is at least that way. No telling what will happen now!
