Mark Calaway Early Life
Mark On March 24, 1965, William Calaway was born in Houston, Texas. He is the eldest of a brood of five. Waltrip High School offered him the opportunity to participate in both football and basketball. Lufkin, Texas (population: 115,000) is 115 miles northeast of Houston, where he attended Angelina College.
In 1983, he was awarded a basketball scholarship and attended college for four years. The next year, he enrolled at Texas Wesleyan University in order to play basketball and pursue a degree in sports management. It was in 1986 that he dropped out of college and briefly contemplated playing pro basketball in Europe, but he decided to focus on wrestling instead.

On June 26, 1987, Calaway made his professional wrestling debut as Texas Red in World Class Championship Wrestling. Since joining the Continental Wrestling Association in 1988, Calaway has competed under many different names, including The Master of Pain and The Punisher, among others.
When he entered the WWE in 1990, he changed his moniker from “Mean Mark Callous” to “The Undertaker” after signing with World Championship Wrestling. The Undertaker quickly rose to prominence in the world of professional wrestling. WWE’s “WrestleMania” is synonymous with “The Streak,” a 21-match winning streak by The Undertaker. He made his acting debut as Hutch in 1991’s “Suburban Commando,” which was his feature picture debut. In 2002, Calaway appeared on the Canadian sports show “Off the Record with Michael Landsberg” without his usual persona. You have my word that if you beat me I’m never coming back to the WWE again. But if I win, you’re out of here. Mark Calaway Personal life
Calaway had a son, born in 1993, with his first wife from 1989 to 1999. In 2000, Calaway married Sara, his second wife. A conflict between Calaway and Diamond Dallas Page in 2001 saw Sara make a TV appearance in which she was recognized as Calaway’s wife. Before divorcing in 2007, the couple had two children together. He married Michelle McCool, a former professional wrestler, in 2010 and had their first kid in 2012.
In addition to boxing, Calaway is a devotee of mixed martial arts. As a Brazilian jiu-jitso expert, he holds the highest rank. He participates in the “Zeus Compton Calaway Save the Animals Fund,” a nonprofit he founded with his ex-wife Sara to help pay for life-saving procedures for large-breed canines.
