“Murder Mystery 2” may want to include Epsom salts as part of its marketing campaign. Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston, the movie’s stars, reportedly experienced aches and pains while filming the Netflix movie.
Sandler told Variety he ended up having a hip replacement shortly after filming.
“I had been doing so many movies in a row. I did ‘Spaceman,’ and I was always hanging in a harness. I kept saying, ‘Something’s going on with my hip, man. I’m in trouble,’ Sandler said. “And then during this and this other movie I did, I was like, ‘Yeah, I gotta x-ray that thing,’ and we were in trouble.”
At 56, the comedian performed some of his stunts and declared, “Everything is scary.”
“You never know where you’re going to get up from. Well, I’m sluggy. “My body hurts,” he explained. “Jennifer is in good health.” I didn’t think I needed to get in shape for the film, but while we were filming, I realized, ‘Man, I should have been in shape.’
Aniston claims she didn’t escape without her wear and strain.
She informed the publication that she worsened an earlier back issue on the final day of filming.
“I had a back problem around three years ago that felt incredibly irritated while I was in the harness,” Aniston explained. “It was the very last thing I filmed.” That was one of those moments when you wake up the next day or two and think, “Wow, that got nasty.”
“Murder Mystery 2” starts streaming Friday on Netflix.
