Sia joined Cyrus during the first verse of her performance of “Stars Are Blind,” a 2006 dance-pop hit by Paris Hilton. But to end the set, the group invited none other than Hilton herself to the stage.

I’ve got another surprise, as I promised. Hilton described the reveal in an Instagram post. “I loved singing “Stars Are Blind” with Miley Cyrus and Sia on her New Year’s Eve special for @MileyCyrus! The ideal way to celebrate my new rendition of this well-known song and bring in the year 2023.”
Although she had earlier in the week published a reworked version of “Stars Are Blind” as a preview for “brand-new music” arriving in 2023, Hilton’s participation was nevertheless a surprise to the audience at the celebrity-studded Miami event.

Following her New Year’s performance, she extended that tease on Instagram, writing, “I’m eager to share with you all the other fantastic projects I’m currently working on. Only the beginning lies ahead! a happy new year!” Paris Hilton is there! As they finished the performance, Sia yelled. That’s sexy! Hilton remarked into the microphone.
