Tysons Mall Shooting: Authorities are looking into claims that a suspect destroyed jewelry store cases with a hammer on Sunday night in Tysons Corner Center.

Just before six o’clock, the incident was reported at the mall’s Elite Jewelers store. The culprit used a hammer to smash the cases, according to the police. It is uncertain what was taken if anything.

Investigators said there were no gunshots during the interaction.

Fairfax County Police tweeted a picture of a male suspect wearing a white hoodie and blue jeans.

After an altercation at Tysons Corner Center Mall in December of last year, a 16-year-old from Centreville, Virginia, was accused, according to the police.
