Nicki Aycox Dies at 47: According to a Facebook post from her sister-in-law, Supernatural actor Nicki Aycox, who played Meg Masters, passed away on Wednesday. She was 47.
“Nicki Aycox Raab, my gorgeous, intelligent, fierce, extraordinarily brilliant, and beloved sister-in-law, died yesterday with my brother, Matt Raab, by her side. In California, Nicki and Matt enjoyed a beautiful life together. Everyone who knew her adored her, and she was undoubtedly a fighter, Susan Raab Ceklosky wrote.
The native of Oklahoma made her fight with leukemia public. Aycox posted on Instagram in March 2021 with the caption, “I can’t believe my last [three] months. However, it now makes sense. In January and February, I got sick and thought I had COVID. Things did come to a head. I was eventually hospitalized and given the diagnosis of [leukemia]. I want to let everyone know that I’m doing amazingly well and battling chemo. I’ll update you with a better photo of myself and discuss staying optimistic even in the most trying circumstances.

“I was saddened to learn of the passing of the legendary Nicki Aycox, our first MegMaster. Eric Kripke, the show’s creator, tweeted on Sunday, “Too young.” She was delightful and delivered lines with venom and honey. I’m in awe of how she elevated a common phrase like “lackluster” to legendary status.
The Hollywood Reporter was informed by Aycox’s manager, Daryn Simons, that the actress was receiving care at the City of Hope. She remarked, “Her strength was astounding.”
