A bus driver for the Oswego City School District was detained on Tuesday on charges of reckless endangerment and endangering the welfare of a child.
Nicole M. Palmer, 41, was the subject of an investigation by the Oswego Police Department Criminal Investigation Division and the Oswego City School District after it was discovered that she was acting inappropriately while riding the school bus alone. Palmer was caught on surveillance footage using drugs while taking breaks between transporting pupils.

Palmer was later detained on charges of reckless endangerment and endangering the welfare of a child. Police say Palmer was allegedly using the drug called “molly” and was in an impaired condition while operating a school bus with students on board. “Molly” is street slang for MDMA
