Selena Gomez is not allowing online rumours to affect her. The owner of Rare Beauty has long denied claims that she and Hailey Baldwin Bieber, the singer’s ex-boyfriend, and wife, are at odds.
Gomez promptly put an end to any drama when she came across a fan-made film that claimed a since-deleted video Bieber released last month was in some manner a dig at her. (The model also refuted claims that the video was produced with malice.)
“It’s ok! I don’t let these things get me down! Be nice to everyone! x,” Gomez, 30, commented last week on the video, which was shared on Jan. 9 by user @ellenacuario.
The 26-year-old Bieber and two friends, including Kendall Jenner, lip-synced to a famous audio sound in the original video, which he shared in early January. The TikTok published by @ellenacuario, which Gomez later commented on, linked the two even though the original video did not mention Gomez. This was because Bieber shared his TikTok around the same time Gomez was publicly shamed after being captured in a swimsuit by paparazzi.
