The okémon GO Astral Eclipse event will continue to light up the cosmos (and the planet below) until the evening of November 28, 2022, at 8:00 p.m. This event marks the beginning of the first time Trainers in Pokémon GO will be able to evolve Cosmoem.
Get ready for your next journey with Cosmog, as the second part of the Season-long Special Research, A Cosmic Companion will also be unlocked. Trainers can expend 100 Cosmog Candies to evolve their Cosmoem into either Solgaleo, the Sun Pokémon, or Lunala, the Moon Pokémon, depending on the time of day.
Since Solgaleo and Lunala stand in for the sun and moon, respectively, we should expect to see more Pokémon that have some connection to the stars or the upcoming Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon games.
You’ll see more Alolan varieties in the wild, such as Rattata, Sandshrew, Clefairy, Vulpix, Staryu, Hoothoot, Sunkern, Lunatone, Solrock, Munna, Cottonee, Petilil, and Yungoos. Take part in the event’s Collection Challenges to earn Stardust, which can be used to increase your Pokémon‘s stats.
If you evolve Cosmoem into Solgaleo or Lunala, you can customize your new partner with cool new avatar gear. Use the Lunala Wings and Lunala Pants to soar to the moon’s surface, or put on the Solgaleo Mask and Solgaleo Shoes to radiate like the sun. In addition, you can add some space-age flair to your wardrobe with a pair of cool Starry Sky Tights.
The newest Ultra Beast in Pokémon GO will be no match for you and your team of Solgaleo or Lunala. Sunday, November 27, 2022, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. local time is when Ultra Beast Arrival: Global will take place. Explore this page to find out more information on the gathering.
