Put it behind you! It’s a great feeling when you’ve reached the stage where you love yourself so much that you don’t care what other people think of you.
In response to a user saying she had heard that he, Luther Vandross, and Teddy Pendergrass were all gay, the R&B singer tweeted (and later deleted) “Tevin is [rainbow flag emoji]” earlier this year, fueling suspicion about his sexuality. After receiving fake congratulations on his “soon-to-be ban from the state of Florida,” Campbell replied, “I’ll live.”
Almost 20 years after telling Sister 2 Sister magazine that he wasn’t gay but a “try-sexual,” Campbell is finally coming out as such.
“I’m not gay, but there are a lot of different things that I like sexually,” Campbell responded when asked about his sexuality. Working in the industry exposes you to a wide variety of experiences. While I don’t identify as gay, I am a weirdo, and I believe that most people understand that.
