Bob Saget Early Life
On May 17, 1956, Robert Saget, popularly known as Bob, was born in Philadelphia. His ancestors are devout Jews. Benjamin, his father, was a supermarket executive, and Rosalyn “Dolly,” his mother, was a hospital administrator. Benjamin was the only child. Before returning to Philadelphia, he lived in California as a child and attended Abington Senior High School. In 1975, he graduated from high school and enrolled at Temple University to pursue a degree in film.
