Al Pacino is going to be a dad — again!
The 82-year-old actor and his 29-year-old partner, Noor Alfallah, expect their first child in April 2022.
Pacino is the father of three grown children. With his ex-girlfriend, acting coach Jan Tarrant, he has a daughter named Julie Marie.
He also has twins Anton and Olivia from his relationship with former Beverly D’Angelo, whom he dated from 1997 to 2003. Despite his celebrity, the Scarface actor keeps his personal life with his children mainly private.
Though he has never married, the Oscar winner has been romantically associated with Diane Keaton, Lucila Solá, and Alfallah.
“Of course, it’s possible [that I’ll marry].” But it seems irrelevant,” the actor told the Boston Herald in 2015. “I have no idea,” says the author, “but I never say never.”
When Pacino was two, his parents split, and he moved in with his maternal grandparents. “My father was no longer in my life,” he told The Guardian in 2015. “I wanted to be unique with my children.” I wanted to be accountable to them, so I split my time between the two coasts.”
In 2014, Pacino told The New Yorker about parenthood, adding, “I’m responsible to them.” I am a part of their world. When I’m not, it bothers both me and them. So that’s part of the overall picture. And I’m learning a lot from it. It takes you away from yourself.”
Julie Pacino, 33
Julie Marie Pacino, Tarrant’s only child, was born in New York City on October 16, 1989.
Julie followed in her father’s footsteps and became an actor and filmmaker. In a 2014 interview with her alma mater, the New York Film Academy, she admitted that working in the film industry had always been her passion.
“As a child, I was always making little shorts with my friends and writing stories to act out,” she recalled. “I remember visiting film sets as a kid and always being incredibly intrigued by the alternate reality I was stepping into.”
Julie and her companion Jennifer DeLia founded the production firm Poverty Row Entertainment in 2009. Gender and sexuality are discussed in relation to art by the firm.
“As a production company, we’ve also created music videos and commercials,” she continued. “We have a lot of fun doing short format work.” It’s fantastic to work on something from beginning to end and gain on-set experience. Every time, I learn something new.”
Julie has received various honors for her work, including best director at the Venice Shorts Film Festival in 2020 and silver at the Hollywood Gold Awards the same year.
Julie launched Tiny Apples, a new production firm, in 2020. According to a news release, the company’s mission is to “push the boundaries of conventional storytelling by creating imaginative content while tapping into the best and brightest of both coasts.”
Anton Pacino, 22
Anton James Pacino, Pacino and D’Angelo’s son was born in Los Angeles on January 25, 2001. Olivia is his twin sister.
Anton avoids the spotlight and does not appear to have a social media presence. Over the years, a few images have been taken of him having ice cream, shopping in Los Angeles, and visiting a doctor’s office.

Pacino told how his children had changed him. “Kids have changed my perspective,” he says. “Before I had my three, I used to walk around in my head, not noticing anything.” Acting used to be everything; thanks to them, it’s only a minor role.”
He told in 2014 about a decoration Anton made as a child. “When my son was four, he painted this.” ‘New York in the Fall,’ he explained.
Olivia Pacino, 22
Olivia Rose Pacino is Pacino and D’Angelo’s daughter and Anton’s twin sister. She was born on January 25, 2001, in Los Angeles.
She maintains an active social media presence, with over 18,000 Instagram followers. In June 2020, she shared a photo of her dad for Father’s Day, writing, “Happy Father’s Day to the most amazing father ever! 💓🥺 you are my best friend.”

Pacino’s agent confirmed to PEOPLE in May 2023 that the actor and his partner, Noor Alfallah, are expecting their first child together. Alfallah is presently eight months pregnant.
