The Boys Diabolical Recap
Being situated in the “The Boys” universe, practically every episode has some connection to an existing character, such as a Homelander billboard or an appearance by The Deep, and the one near-constant is the slimy, evil corporation Vought. A blue serum that turns normal people into supes is the real villain in this case. While it may appear that having superpowers may solve all of life’s issues, this is not the case for the characters involved.
You can expect buckets of blood, gut-wrenching necrophilia, and the most ridiculous superhero characters ever seen on television in each of the eight episodes of the series. They don’t gain powers, but they get some Vought cream that allows them to alter their appearances to their heart’s content. Their noses and waistlines may be becoming smaller, but their reliance on ointment and social media is getting worse, till they no longer care about anyone.
