‘Bling Empire’ Star Anna Shay Passes Away at the Age of 62

Anna Shay, who participated in Netflix’s “Bling Empire” reality show, d!ed of a stroke. She was 62 years old.

“It saddens our hearts to announce that Anna Shay, a loving mother, grandmother, charismatic star, and our brightest ray of sunshine, d!ed from a stroke at 62.”

Shay’s brother, Allen, became CEO of Pacific Architects after her father d!ed in 1995. Shay and her brother sold the company to Lockheed Martin in 2006, giving them the company’s heirs.

Shay went on to star in Netflix’s reality show “Bling Empire” in 2021. She co-starred with Kane Lim, Gabriel and Christine Chiu, Kim Lee, Jaime Xie, and other Asian American socialites from Los Angeles. The show was frequently compared to the real-life “Crazy Rich Asians.”

“Shay says she thought about starring on ‘Bling Empire’ as doing something for herself, after spending years looking after her son, in the wake of her parent’s deαths,” Town & Country wrote in a 2021 profile.
