Following the passing of her mother, Lisa Marie Presley, at the age of 54, Riley Keough posted a tribute to her. Lisa Marie Presley, Elvis Presley’s only child, passed away on Thursday (12 January), according to her mother Priscilla Presley.
She issued a statement that stated, “It is with a heavy heart that I must deliver the devastating news that my beautiful daughter Lisa Marie has left us.” She was the most emotional, powerful, and loving woman I’ve ever met.
There was no indication of a cause of death; however, Lisa Marie had been “rushed to hospital” hours before she passed away. A worldwide outpouring of mourning followed the news, with John Travolta, Tom Hanks, and Diane Warren among those who paid respect.
Keough, 33, posted her homage to her mum on Friday (20 January). The Zola actress shared a black-and-white snapshot of her youthful self holding a bouquet and gazing up at her mother on Instagram.

Many fans left supportive comments on Keough’s post, with one writing: “I’m so sincerely sad for your loss. May your mother’s great memories sustain you during these trying times. “A heartbreaking reminder that this is a mother who passed away too soon, above the notoriety and the renown. Sorry,” said a different commenter.
The artist attended the 80th Golden Globes just two days before Lisa Marie passed away to support Austin Butler, who took home the prize for Best Actor in a Motion Picture – Drama for his work in Baz Luhrmann’s movie Elvis.
Butler remarked, “Lisa Marie, Priscilla, I love you forever,” during his acceptance speech. A public tribute for Lisa Marie will be held at her father’s former Graceland Mansion in Memphis, Tennessee, on Sunday (21 January).
The memorial service will be placed on the front lawn, and everyone planning to attend is requested to donate to The Elvis Presley Charitable Foundation rather than flowers.
